Yes Halloween is still celebrated on October 31, but you can start celebrating this weekend at one of these events:

Pru Boo: Trick or Treat for Charity

This event takes place at the Prudential Center on Sunday, October 26 from 11 AM – 1 PM. The gist: you donate $4, your child can trick or treat at retail outlets in the Pru, visit with animals from ZOO New England and participate in other activities. Pumpkinfest at Lincoln School in Brookline

This is a family fun day for kids Pre-k to 7th grade. There will be games, rides, food and fun. The event will take place rain or shine October 26 from Noon to 4 PM. The Lincoln School is located at 19 Kennard Road, Brookline MA.

8th Annual Halloween Costume Party

This event is put on by the gay men’s domestic violence project. It will take place on October 26 from 6 PM to 10 PM at Estate Nightclub. For more information: Gay Men’s Domestic Violence Project
