As a business focused on saving you time, we’d be remiss in not mentioning that daylight savings time begins this Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 2:00 AM. So prior to going to sleep on Saturday night, set your clocks one hour ahead. While you’ll be losing an hour of sleep, you’ll be gaining an hour of daylight, a good way to add more time to your day.
Daylight savings time will be in effect until November 6, 2011 when we turn our clocks back one hour and find it getting dark at around 4:30 PM in the middle of the winter.
There are other countries around the world that also observe a form of day light savings time. You can find a list of which countries observe and what exclusions exist if any within the country at the timedate.com web site, along with a history of day light savings time, and other handy date/time related tools.
