or so the calendar says. Even though there’s still snow on the ground it’s time to start thinking spring. Spring is a time of renewal, rebirth, reorganization and blooming flowers. So here’s my plan for spring:

  • inventory my warm weather wardrobe to see what should be: discarded, cleaned, replaced
  • re-pot and prune the plants that need it
  • get rugs and carpets shampooed
  • have windows cleaned
  • rotate mattress and change bed skirt
  • re-line kitchen cabinets

other spring activities that may also be on your list:

  • prepping the deck and and its furniture for use as the weather warms up
  • gardening
  • repair window screens
  • checking expiration dates on dry goods stored in kitchen/basement
  • checking expiration dates on cosmetics
  • inspect and clean light fixtures
  • test smoke and carbon monoxide alarms

There’s a lot to do in the spring. Can you use some help? Hands of Time can pick up gardening supplies, re-pot plants, repair screens, drop off donations at Goodwill or the charity of your choice as well as reorganize your closets and draws.
