Dress for Success is a non-profit organization that provides interview suits, confidence boosts, and career development to low-income women. Here in Massachusetts we have a Dress for Success in Boston, Western Massachusetts and Worcester. Dress for Success accepts both financial and clothing donations. You are asked to dry clean your items before bringing them in, and to carry them in on hangers. Clothing should be in season and in style.
Boston
Here in Boston, Dress for Success is located at the Family Justice Center on Commonwealth Avenue. Clothing donations are accepted on specific dates. The next donation day is January 13, 2009 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM. Right now they are especially in need of trousers and suits, size 18+ and above, black purses and winter coats.
Western Massachusetts
The Dress for Success Western Massachusetts is located in Springfield, MA. They accept donations Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM – 4 PM.
Worcester
Dress for Success Worcester is not accepting clothing donations at this time. They will be looking for clothing donations later on in the year. Check back at their web site for more information.
